I received this book to give an honest review.

We are giving three different stories and each one Bragg will find himself either in the eyes of a woman or trouble with a client's situation. Sometimes both!

Even though this book is a series with the same P.I. the women that are in each book are not seen or heard from again, which is a bit weird because normally at least one woman comes back in some way.

I really loved how with each story we have a great ending and I enjoy how Bragg closes his cases. There is no short of action or adventure with Bragg and that to me makes a darn good P.I. book. I didn't feel like it dragged in any way I felt that it was a steady plot!
I will be reading more in this series to find out what trouble Bragg will find himself into next.

Jack Lynch modeled many aspects of Peter Bragg on himself. He graduated with a BA in journalism from the University of Washington and reported for several Seattle-area newspapers, and later others in Iowa and Kansas. He ended up in San Francisco, where he briefly worked for a brokerage house and as a bartender in Sausalito, before joining the reporting staff of the San Francisco Chronicle. He left the newspaper after many years to write the eight Bragg novels, earning one Edgar and two Shamus nominations and a loyal following of future crime writers. He died in 2008 at age 78.
